Sophomore Kayden Reese has several accomplishments throughout her high school career. She is involved and included in clubs and has contributed to our school by being in JROTC, theater, and the film club.
“In theater, one of my biggest achievements was being in the school’s production of Something Rotten and getting to sing a solo, which was really exciting for me. I also played as King in the fall matinee theater play “Cinderella or the Big Foot Story.” I was also Grouchy in the spring matinee play “Snow White”. I’ve really been pushing myself more lately because of theater, like auditioning for advanced theater/troupe, and I got in! That was a big step for me, and it made me feel more confident about putting myself out there,” said Reese.
Reese has helped with film, and she has worked as a cinematographer on some of the projects in her film club. Throughout her high school career, she has been someone you can rely on to complete her projects and count on for her participation.
One of her biggest accomplishments this year has been stepping out of her comfort zone and pushing herself to achieve what she wants.
“I’d say my biggest accomplishments, especially this year, are stepping out of my comfort zone and growing and improving my confidence. Whether it’s taking leadership roles in JROTC, performing on stage, or auditioning for things that I normally wouldn’t do, I’ve really pushed myself this year, and I’m proud of that”, said Reese
Reese is passionate about films, acting, and contributing to theater or plays. She has always applied herself to her assignments. Not only because she is a good student, but also because she applies herself to anything she needs to do.
“After high school, I plan on going to college to become a cinematographer/videographer. I’ve always been interested in film and storytelling, and I enjoy being behind the camera, bringing the ideas to life,” said Reese
The school is very grateful to have such a wonderful student like Reese, who contributes greatly to the school and cares about her peers.
