Have you ever wanted just to watch movies and talk? That’s exactly what the FAY club was created for! FAY club is a film club where students watch movies and talk. Sophomores Charlene Lamber and Alana Kemp started the club. Every month, members vote for a movie and watch it the following month.
The club targets all students who simply need a club to join, but mainly freshmen.
“It’s usually designed for, like, freshmen who aren’t really sure what club they want to be in.”Lamber said, “It’s kind of, like, an easy, laid-back club, where they feel safe and can connect with other people.”
The club views movies from all genres. They recently just had their first official meeting, while they watched Coraline, and had lots of fun!
“I love seeing all the different groups and grades of people come in. Our first movie was an awesome hit, and I can’t wait to see how our club is in the future!” Kemp said.
Kemp and Lamber are really enjoying the club and cannot wait for what comes next!
