Garcia’s efforts have been recognized with numerous scholarships, including the Wake Ed Emerging Star Award, La Excelencia Latina Award, the National Honor Society Semifinalist Scholarship, Semifinalist for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship, and a finalist for the Ternitini Scholarship.
Garcia has not only put his hard work into school and his education, but he’s also put lots of his effort into things for the community. He shows how there are things greater to him at school other than just education and bettering his future, showing his drive to not only use his smarts but his heart to work on something he is deeply passionate about.
“I am truly committed to my dream of battling inequity at our school, so founding a nonprofit school store is my proudest accomplishment!” Garcia said.
Due to his hard work, scholarships, and selflessness, he has been recognized and accepted into many schools. He has time and time again shown his hard work and dedication to his future and community, his hard work is not only a reflection of his wants but also the values that come with him. Making it hard for colleges not to notice him and the positive and do good vibe that he could bring to their campuses
“I have been accepted into UNC-Chapel Hill Honors College, NC State Honors College, and UNC through direct admission,” Garcia said
With all the things Garcia’s done to better his community and future, it makes sense that he committed to UNC-Chapel Hill to major in chemistry on a Pre-Med track. Once again showing how he wants to serve his community by going into chemistry and medicne.I believe I can speak for everyone when I say we hope he succeeds in his dream of going to Pre-Med or whatever path he might decide to travel down later on.
