Alston and Walker continue to lead the Cougars

Saturday, Sept. 24, at Hagen Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, NC, the cross country teams ran another 5K with a lot of new personal records.
Junior Matthew Walker came in first for the boy’s team again this week, earning a new personal record of 16:35. He finished 16th in his race and received a trophy.
Freshman Lily Alston finished first for the girl’s team with a time of 19:56. She got 15th place in her race; she also received a trophy.
The boys’ team finished 9th out of 44 teams, while the girls finished 16th out of 36 teams.
