At the annual Adidas Cross Country Challenge Sept. 16 in Cary at WakeMed Soccer Complex, hundred of runners joined the Cougar cross country team to showcase their skills. The boys’ team competed in the third division. Senior Matthew Walker’s 49th place finish (17:17.60) led the squad, followed by junior Landen Holland, whose 88th place clocked in at 17.54.10.
