The fall season Cougar Medal recipients were announced Nov. 22 at the fall sports banquet. Medals are awarded to athletes who excelled in their sports.

Sophomore Skyler Kipp and seniors Olivia Fischlein, Josh Rutland and Samantha Widelski were honored in front of an audience of all the fall sports athletes with the exception of football, which holds a separate banquet Dec. 13.

The athletic department awarded Kipp for qualifying for the state golf match. Fischlein earned honors as the conference champion in the cross country 5k and for being a state qualifier. Both Rutland and Widelski were honored for being selected as conference players of the year in soccer and volleyball.
