Our school has won the AP Honor Roll SIlver award for the 22-23 school year. The award recognizes schools whose AP programs offer maximum learning opportunities and college readiness for their students, and our school is one of them.
The AP School Honor Roll only presented this award to only 30 percent of eligible schools in the United States.
Dean of Students Lisette Pike made the announcement for our winning of this award, and she shared her knowledge and emotions she has regarding it.
“I was happy and proud to be one of the few schools selected,” Pike said.
Receiving this award reflects on the school’s teaching program, and it shows certain aspects and characteristics of the staff and students.
“A dedicated teaching core. Our AP teachers are skilled and knowledgeable regarding sharing the AP curriculum,” Pike said.
This award gives a favorable reputation to our school, meaning we will have to keep up with the standards.
“We will continue to shine and continue to grow,” Pike said.
